Jen, Bonsai Kitten is just a parody site. They're laughing at the fact that kittens try to get into small places; the idea came about because they found their kittens crawling into jars. I know, I've read some conversations with people connected to bonsaikitten when a story came up about PETA trying to get the site shut down. It's as much a parody as Americans for Purity is, though it's far more over the top and as such is a much more obvious parody.
In other news, new version of ZSNES out. Some small fixes over 1.30, and the win32 port has had speedups.
Hmm, tired. Sigh.

Meep. Was going to play D&D, nothing got done. Sat around for two or three hours, left for another friend's where a bunch of people were going to watch movies. Saw CTHD, then Mickey Blue Eyes. Currently tired and taking bets on whether I'll go to church at 9am.

*whistles*... Wow, what a way to destroy a cpu. Though it is a little odd that it looks as though the ATX power supply isn't plugged in.
Still, I do know that AMD says an athlon at 1ghz will die in six seconds without proper cooling. Makes you a little nervous when putting on thermal compound and snapping on the hsf.

Mmmm... I just had what has to be one of the most relaxing nights I've ever had.
Sigh. Just got my grades for this semester (I thought UOP was going to stop mailing them out? Oh well). I did much worse than I was expecting. I knew I was going to fail calculus, but I did much worse in my other classes than I hoped. c+ in comp sci. Grr. *bangs head on keyboard* bgggb ghhyjnughujyhmn

Sob... we soon lost Penny. But she will be back, later today or sometime tomorrow. Hopefully we'll have her for longer this time, she's the best dog ever ^^;

Yes, I do read loads of things. At this point I've said screw it to reading all the links I usually do, but just got 77 emails and perhaps 30 of them held interest... still, thats a good amount of stuff to read through. There's no way I'm reading through the irc logs I keep (ice-castle.us.icenet.org:6667 #agffr for those who care), three days of them is a bit much. 70 messages in alt.games.final-fantasy.rpg. Three days of User Friendly, PvP, and Real Life, plus all the news for tomorrow, laundry, search for a job, and you. I will find time to read people's blogs, but I have to get in the habit first. And I may not end up with lots of free time anymore.

Well, figuring things out as we go along I guess. My continued ignorance of a web page combined with laziness is making this probably more time-consuming and not quite how I want it than it needs to be. In any case, mwahahaha I finally have a blog set up.
Yesterday was interesting; I was just sitting down to play quake 3 at a friend's house when I suddenly had to stop; we had work to do. His dad came home with a SOYO motherboard and 800MHz Duron, and we had to install it for him.
Then a bunch of friends who were over played D&D. Last game we were swamped by goblins and wolves taken over by some mysterious artifact, and this game the druid had a great idea: burn down the forest to get them. The dwarf had a similarly great idea: poison the forest to get them.
Well, whatever. Sigh, probs with my new computer. Video card overheats. I need to get a bigger fan for it (or one of those fans that sucks stuff out from a pci slot, I could put that in the slot just below it). Meantime, I'm using a house fan to blow on my open case :)
Whatever, though. Just two more days.
