Well, bored as hell. But I really really need to get working because I think there's something going on in Japanese tomorrow (like this big packet of work being due or s'th like that).
Weeeee. Apparently my Uncle Richard died, which I suppose should affect me but I really wasn't close to him at all and given how he lived I was expecting it to come sooner or later. In any case... I dunno. My mom's having to do stuff because of it, and I can't really understand sadly.
Anyway, yay for cute girls. I get to take the twins home from the airport in Sacramento next weekend. I'll have to be there around 9am, but that's a sacrifice I'm willing to make (hopefully Sheila will sit in front with me XD). So yay for that.
Leeched all of Ayu Trance, the last few cowboy bebop ost's (no disc, the third one, the movie, and the music for freelance), the first two digi charat ost's, and ayu-mi-x II and III Acoustic orchestra versions.
Onegai Teacher 8 was released today... I was there when the release happened, heh. What a madhouse. An hour later I managed to get on a server once things had calmed down somewhat, and got a nice steady 60kBps transfer rate :) I'm currently downloading OT9 raw... that will be an interesting experience I'm sure. And I'm getting the raw of Panyo Panyo Digi charat 9, which will be even more of an experience (if a shorter one).
Naughty Nick's upgraded their DDR4th to a 5th mix (still without memory cards sadly). I finally beat Rhythm & Police K.O.G. G3 mix! Yay for me! And I did Petit Love Double... which I feel like a total dumbass doing because I'm galloping over both pads to this happy bouncy song that's rather gay (I can say that, right?). But damn if it isn't the most fun song I've ever done in DDR :)
Well, for having nothing going on I certainly have a lot going on. Next week is spring break... where I get to catch up on anime. 20 episodes of X TV, 5 episodes of Aquarian Age, 22 episodes of Star Ocean EX, 13 episodes of FFU, a bunch of nadesico, 25 episodes of Love Hina, 13 + the specials of Comic Party, some Kaze no Yojimbo, a couple episodes of Kanon, some Seikai no Senki, 26 episodes of Noir... and that's just what I have downloaded right now. I also said I would do the maniac, double, and couple steps for DDR Disney Mix (which I'll have to rent and find some space for the video files I'll be making). Lots to do. Ja ne.

So. Not too much going on. Anime to..night? damn, it's late. Anyway, we're watching I My Me! Strawberry Eggs 2. Provided by me. And pretear and hikaru no go, provided by the lovely twins. And 3x3 eyes provided by lori who should be getting me a copy of the last two tapes of excel saga sometime in the next month :)
Lan party thing going on at UOP this weekend. 11am until whenever, with console games running all day and some will play the WCIII beta.
Just got Command and Conquer: Renegade, and damn does it rock. So much fun, and it sorta feels like you're in the middle of a real game of C&C. Except for the interiors of buildings are intricately mapped (I still don't know where the MCT in the Hand of Nod is. I just used an Ion Cannon beacon both times I had to blow one up).
in any case, UPS got the game to me in the fastest 3 days ever. It was shipped 3 day air via ups, but the guys at gamespot must have had a surplus of next day air boxes. Which is good for me. The next day air box my game was shipped in must have confused the UPS peeps, because I got the game the day after it was shipped. Heh.
ACM today... more anime on Friday. Oh, and I get to go to a Japanese restaurant with my teacher and the rest of my class. Though we'll have to speak all in Japanese. Which is good in theory, but I don't regularly study (if I do at all) and I get by mostly on luck and whatever I manage to retain from session to session. Which is a fair amount and that sort of thing leads some people to get very annoyed at me because I never work hard and yet somehow manage to still do decently well. Which is slowly but surely changing, as my classes are starting to require some actual study time.
Anyway, should be some nice eatin' that afternoon.

Well, peeps at JCFA loved I My Me! Strawberry Eggs. And they voted down Onegai Teacher :( I love that series so much. Rah Xephon looks pretty good from the first ep, and I like Full Metal Panic. And I'm not sure why I keep watching Kanon - it's not even for the girls, they're all like 10 years old and I'm not attracted to them at all.

Hmm, I haven't blogged in ages. To wrap up the girl thing, she said she's not into the dating thing right now, too much stress. Oh well.
Had a LAN party this weekend. We played mostly the same games - Urban Terror, Counter-Strike, AvP2, and now Alliance Q3. Damn is that a lot of fun, especially with the offhand grapple.
We also tried out the new Command and Conquer: Renegade demo, and that game rocks so very much. I'm so buying it when it comes out next week. The multiplayer mode is this: you're playing a game of C&C, but instead of worrying about base building and making troops, you play as a unit able to buy your equipment set and vehicles. The objective is to destroy all the buildings of the other side (or leave an ion cannon or nuke beacon in the right place). A hell of a lot of fun (and much better when you have at least 3v3).
We discovered Alan's vidcard was quite good. An old TNT2 but it more than suffices (especially since Lissa's computer is still running a voodoo3 of all things). He didn't have a NIC though, but I gave him this old 10mbit one I had.
Unfortunately I was sick - ugh. By about 4am I had a bad headache, my sinuses sucked, and I didn't want to play anymore. I woke up at around 10, played some avp2 which I hate dearly, and went back to sleep after downloading and watching Onegai Teacher 6. Now I'm finally recovered mostly (though I'm still sick. bleh), which is good since I have school at 1pm.
Hmm... dun think there's that much else to talk about. I get to watch Crimes & Misdemeanors today in class. Oughta be interesting.

w00t! next release of StepMania will have a DDR 5th mix-style scoring algorithm implemented by yours truly! I'm so proud of myself now ;-) I figured almost all of it out myself, too. Though Chris Danford did have to tell me how to get the difficulty of the current song. Very unobvious (Steps *pSteps = GAMEINFO->m_pStepsPlayer[m_PlayerNumber]; int iNumFeet = pSteps->m_iNumFeet;), mostly because of some disorganization in the classes I had to modify.

Well, my mom got us all cell phones today. Nokia 3360... they're rather nice. I've got mine all tricked out with some cool ringtones - currently using Yakusoku wa Iranai but I also have Sakura Saku, the pacman jingle, Bloody Tears (from castlevania), the wizards & warriors opening theme (go nes), the Ice Climber song, the FF victory fanfate, Fever from Dr.Mario, the tetris theme, and for some reason the Beverly Hills Cop theme to choose from. w00t.

Well, having an interesting day today. Marathonned El-Hazard the Magnificient World, very very good. Curently playing FInal Fantasy where the Samurai and Franklin's General got into a fight. Little chickenfight, doing like 1 hp each hit. Until Eric managed to break Matt's weapon. Now we're trying to figure out what to do about some earth people and a nasty stone skull. I'll probably blog later, but gotta get back to game now.

Classes should go well this semester. Except japanese, I'm unsure on that. It's definitely going to be harder though.
